Marsa Zayed project , the land mark development - named in memory of the late , Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan , the largest mega mixed use development project the country has ever conceived. it is to become one of Jordan's touristic land mark and welcoming gateway to Aqaba . T3-01P & T7 Primary Infrastructure: Infrastructure Scope: Primary Infrastructure, setting out, earthworks, grading, roads, signs, surface water drainage, fresh water supply, irrigation water supply, waste water collection, electrical power and telecommunication, and public realm landscape provision to T3-01P Road. plots soil treatment for building using Husker technology that include replacing the un-suitable material to certain depth by multiple layers of Geogrid and base course. its a Germany technology aimed to make a reinforced soil raft & Geosynthetics masonry soil retaining wall using Husker technology.
Geographic Location & Climate
Marsa Zayed is located on approximately 3,200,000 square meters of land adjacent to the existing city of Aqaba and in place of the existing port of Aqaba. It is approximately 10 kilometres from the King Hussein International Airport on a characteristic seaboard in the start & surrounding mountains in the end (elevation from 50 to 100 m above sea level). Aqaba has dry Mediterranean climate of baking hot summers, very warm winters and very low rainfall & highly fertile with average annual rainfall 10mm, southern dry wind from Arabia ,average high temperature 37° & low 21° . the geographic location of project is (29°29'59.02"N, 35° 0'3.89"E) .

1- EARTH WORK Excavation and embankment construction for building plots , roads & structural work (box culvert, water tank...etc.) Quantity for excavation = 950,000 Cubic meter Quantity for embankment construction = 90,000 Cubic meter structural excavation = 55,000 Cubic meter
2-BOX CULVERT Construction of box culvert long 700 m & concrete lined ditch with High tensile steel bar reinforcement. Concrete quantity = 10,000 Cubic meter , steel bar quantity = 1,120 ton
3- ROADS Construction a Roads ,roundabout , with all miscellaneous work & Accessories (curbstone ,concrete tiles ,median concrete paving ,Gabion wall & grouted riprap .....etc) Quantity of aggregate base & sub abase course = 12,300 Cubic meter Quantity of wearing course = 33,550 square meter
4- SURFACE WATER DRAINAGE Installation for surface drainage network with different concrete pipe diameter (300-750 mm) & drain manholes tow type Grilled & closed . pipe quantity = 4,000 liner meter
5- WATER DISTRIBUTION NETWORK Fresh water supply using Ductile Iron pipe for main line & Polyethylene pipe for house connection. DI pipe quantity = 3,000 liner meter polyethylene pipe = 4,000 liner meter
6- IRRIGATION Main pump station , tow water tank & HDPE pipe for main line quantity for HDPE pipe = 10,000 liner meter
7- WASTE WATER NETWORK Using UPVC pipe Diameter 200 - 300 mm for the main line & 150 mm for the house connection pipe Quantity for UPVC pipe = 5,000 Liner meter
8- PLOTS SOIL TREATMENT Installation of geosynthetic reinforced soil (GRSM) system for ground foundation improvement and enhance.
